On 4th February Streetworks Software Ltd of Abbotsley Cambridgeshire merged with Lightsout Computer Services Ltd of Coventry, to create a new independent software and services powerhouse.
Streetworks Software Ltd provides its works information management system, SwIMS, to major clients working across water, gas, electric and telecommunication infrastructures, delivering a complete software and services solution to its utilities and contractor clients.
Lightsout Computer Services Ltd is the developer of the multi-award winning CORONA workflow software which delivers workforce management systems to clients. In addition, Lightsout provides IT outsourcing, IT support, consultancy, project management and delivery.
Robert Marsden, managing director of Streetworks Software, said: “I am delighted to announce our merger with Lightsout Computer Services Ltd. The company is an innovative organisation with a great client base, with software and services solutions that will provide synergies across the new business.
These assets have been developed over the past 25 years by founding partners Tim Usher and Tim Finch. This announcement follows a period of growth and product development across both businesses.
Lightsout Computers Ltd has a varied client base across Utilities, Construction, Logistics, Highways, Health and Safety and Service Centres.

The new business has staff across the UK, all of whom will be part of the new organisation.
